This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

The Sims 4 is getting a cavalcade of fun pet-related items in the form of The Sims 4: My First Pet Stuff, which sounds like some of the cutest additions to the game seen yet. Building on the previous expansion that focused on dogs and cats, My First Pet Stuff will let you dress up your precious pets in new outfits, including pet costumes that you’ll definitely want to get your paws on.

But pet costumes is hardly the biggest announcement here. The new expansion will also include small pets that you can bring to your Sims’ home and spoil them to bits. There’s a wide selection of small animals, including rats, hamsters, miniature bubalus, or a pygmy hedgehog. They’ll all get their own small interactive habitat, Your Sims will start learning how to take care of the little guys, which will be an experience in itself. It’ll probably be one of the cutest things ever.

But that’s still not all. There’s a wide selection of pet-inspired furniture you can rifle through to decorate your home with as well, so your pet love can extend to all aspects of your happy Sim house. The Sims 4: My First Pet Stuff is launching next week, so if you’ve got all this burgeoning love for your favorite furry creatures in your heart and need an outlet, you can nab the expansion then for PC and Mac. Bear in mind that you’ll need The Sims 4 base game and The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs if you want to play.
