The Liar Princess and Blind Prince Is Coming Soon From NIS America

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Nippon Ichi Software is always coming up with some new and unique titles with even more unique names, and its most recent announcement is The Liar Princess and Blind Prince. Its premise is even more interesting: You’re playing as a monster who’s actually a princess, guiding along a blind prince throughout the game. That’s already a pretty interesting premise, but there isn’t a lot more information than that on the game as of yet.

This idea actually came from a female web designer at NIS, when every year Nippon Ichi has an in-house event inviting all their employees to think of their best ideas for a game. When a winner of the contest is chosen, their idea is guaranteed to become a game. The winner this time came out with The Liar Princess and Blind Prince, and we got a quick glimpse of it in the latest issue of Famitsu magazine. It’s coming to PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and Nintendo Switch, so hopefully we’ll hear a little more about when it’s actually releasing soon.

From the brief glimpses we’ve had of the game thanks to small screenshots and little tidbits of information, it seems like a very cute game, but there hasn’t been any information released on how the game will treat the “fake” princess.
