The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Is Getting a Sequel

Nintendo’s E3 2019 Direct was already packed enough, but they decided to cram in one last surprise at the end of the show. And that surprise is that the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is now in development.

You can check out the trailer for the BOTW sequel down below.

We didn’t get a lot of details or even any look at gameplay. However, it’s clear that the sequel still makes use of that same BOTW engine, we’re still in that same version of Hyrule, and it still looks amazing with the cel-shaded style.

We got a glimpse of Zelda herself on horseback, which gives us hope that the sequel might be more focused on her as a central character alongside Link.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild’s sequel doesn’t have a release date yet of course, but we’ll keep you updated as more info comes our way.
