Bravely Archive has suddenly made its way to the west, despite having been canceled in Japan around a year ago. According to the official website, the game is available right now on Android devices, while the iOS page for Bravely Archive isn’t quite ready just yet.

Here’s the official description of the game:

“It was a few hundred years ago that the evil dragon Garganthos tried to end humanity, but was defeated after a long, fierce battle. Garganthos was concealed in a huge crystal, called an “Archive,” that controlled and bound the people’s fate.

But one day, the Archive slammed into the center of the continent of Luxendarc and the fragments of the Archive scattered across the world.

An institution known as the Anastasis Library was founded to collect and study these mysterious crystals. But another group, called the Breakers, emerged to disrupt those efforts…”

Bravely Archive is a mobile spin-off of the Bravely series on the 3DS. The turn-based smartphone RPG features a slew of new characters and features some familiar faces, including Agnes.

Right now, it seems like the game is only available in certain regions. We’ll update this post with more info if Square Enix comes around to sharing more details about it.
