Smartphone RPG Tales of the Rays Gets Its First English Trailer

This past weekend at Anime Expo 2017 Bandai Namco announced that the smartphone title Tales of the Rays would be making its way West this Summer. Today the first English trailer has been released for the game, giving us an overview of what it’s all about.

Tales of the Rays brings a traditional style Tales experience to smartphone, complete with dungeon exploring, skits, multiple regions, and a 3D Linear Motion Battle System. The title follows two heroes, Ix and Mileena, who must journey to save their world. Along the way they’ll encounter many heroes from other worlds, comprised of characters from across the Tales series, who you’ll also be able to add to your party in battle. Tales of the Rays doesn’t have a firm release date yet, but it will launch sometime this Summer on iOS and Android. The game is already available in Japan.
