According to GamesIndustry, Sega will have the rights to publish a new simulation game made by Two Point Studios for PC. Don’t expect much more info for now, however, as the developer confirmed that they’d only be revealing more about the project in 2018. Speaking about the publishing deal, John Clark, Sega Europe’s senior VP of Commercial Publishing, expressed his excitement for the new IP:

“We’ve been talking to Two Point Studios for a long time and are really impressed with their vision. We’re delighted to announce our partnership and look forward to revealing more about the project early next year.”

Two Point Studios was recently formed in 2016 and led by Mark Webley (co-founder of Lionhead) and Gary Carr (former Creative Director of Lionhead). Both of them had previously worked on various projects from Bullfrog and Lionhead such as Theme Park, Black & White, Theme Hospital, and Fable. This reflected on the studio’s statement in its job listing page: “Our vision is to return to the fun, deep and elegantly crafted business management sims, that we used to make at Bullfrog & Lionhead.”

On its official Facebook page, Two Point Studios had recruited several positions of 3D artists and engineers that specialized in Unity engine, presumably for this new simulation game project.
