Scribblenauts Mega Pack Brings Two Greatest Hits From the Series to Consoles Next Month

The creative game series where you can “write in” just about anything is making a big splash once more with the unveiling of Scribblenauts Mega Pack, a two-game collection coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch this September. Bringing the full versions of Scribblenauts Unlimited and Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure to each system, this pack is shining a light on the lighthearted and fun family-friendly series and making these games more widely available.

The new bundle offers various ways for players to implement their own ideas, while helping hero Maxwell solve various puzzles and challenging by summoning just about anything that comes to mind. It’s got two new bonus levels, like the Zed Zeppelin, which has players squaring off against sky pirates. There’s also a simplified “sunflower” text entry system that should make entering item ideas a cinch.

Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure takes your favorite characters and concepts from the games and mixes them up with DC characters like Batman, the Joker, Superman, and the rest of the Justice League to summon heroes, tools, and other items to fell the villains’ nefarious schemes and save the world.

While neither game is brand new, of course, this package brings them together for the first time and lets you try them on current consoles, including the Nintendo Switch. The family-friendly franchise is quite fun, especially if you spend a lot of time messing about with introducing new fun items to the game to see what’s out there, which you could just do for hours rather than actually playing the game.
