Over at the PlayStation Blog, it was announced that Days Gone will be releasing on April 26, 2019. No reason for the delay was provided, but the blog also states that the developers will be making use of the extra time to polish up the game even further.

Days Gone is an open world, third-person action game set in a post-apocalyptic world that’s been overrun by zombies. From the gameplay footage we’ve seen so far, the game certainly looks gorgeous, and players will have multiple options to explore when it comes to dealing with the zombie threat.

Aside from that, Sony also noted at the end of the announcement post that they’re not yet ready to share a more solid release time frame for games like The Last of Us Part II, Death Stranding, and Ghost of Tsushima. Of course, we’ll be updating you as more info comes our way.

Days Gone is set to be released on April 26, 2019 exclusively for the PS4.
