If this is the first time you are hearing about this promotion, I have some bad news for you. Your chances to pick up a free Zygarde and a free Shiny Xerneas have passed, but you still have the opportunity to pick up a free Shiny Yveltal. If you own Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Omega Ruby, X, or Y, all you have to do is follow the instructions below, starting on May 20th, and a Shiny Yveltal will be gifted to you.

  1. Select MYSTERY GIFT on the main menu.
  2. Select MYSTERY GIFT, then YES.
  3. Select GET VIA INTERNET, then YES, then YES again to connect to the Internet.
  4. Watch as you receive the Pokémon.
  5. Speak to the delivery girl in any Pokémon Center to receive the Pokémon.
  6. Be sure to save your game.

Keep in mind that all of the free Pokemon received during this promotion will be level 100, so you will need the last gym badge before you will be able to use them in your party. The last day to take advantage of this giveaway will be May 26th.
