One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition for Nintendo Switch will be getting a Western release, coming to the Americas on May 10 and Europe on May 11. In the US the game will be digital only via the Nintendo eShop, but Europe will be getting a physical and digital release.
The Deluxe Edition features everything included in the base game of One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3, along with 40 pieces of DLC adding new characters and more into the mix. Additionally, players can use the Switch’s Joy-cons to play local co-op in both handheld and TV mode. Pirate Warriors 3 retells many of the story arcs of the popular anime series, all the way from the beginning of the series to the Paramount War arc. Here’s a quick description of the game via Bandai Namco, and you can watch the announcement trailer down below.
“One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition brings together all the sights and sounds of the ONE PIECE franchise and mixes it with Koei Tecmo Games’ unmistakable kinetic battles against innumerable odds. More than 30 playable characters means the biggest problem for fans is figuring out who to choose! One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition implements the Kizuna Rush feature, which summons another character into battle to perform a combo attack. Up to four characters can be summoned into the player’s Crew and create more powerful attacks.”
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 3 Deluxe Edition will launch on May 10 for Nintendo Switch. The original game is currently available for PS3, PS4, and PC.
