Odin: Valhalla Rising Gets New Trailer Showing the Game’s Gorgeous Nordic World

Publisher Kakao Games and developer Lionheart Studio released a new trailer of their upcoming MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising.

Publisher Kakao Games and developer Lionheart Studio released a new trailer of their upcoming MMORPG Odin: Valhalla Rising.

The trailer takes us on a tour of the beautiful open world of the game, which is based on Norse mythology.

You can check it out below alongside a shorter version.

If you want to see more, you can enjoy another batch of trailers released at G-Star in Korea back in November.

Odin: Valhalla Rising is set on four different continents based on Norse mythology, Midgard, Jotunheim, Nidavellir, and Alfheim.

The world is populated by plenty of monsters and creatures besides humans, elves, and giants. Horse riding also seems to play a relevant role in the game.

The game has been in development a few years, previously known as “Project Odin.”

At the moment, it has been announced for PC and mobile, which lately is a trendy combo among Korean MMORPG developers.

Despite the Norse-like setting, the aesthetics of the game remain most definitely Korean, as you’ll see in the trailer. It’s certainly a different take compared to games like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

It’ll be interesting to see where Odin: Valhalla Rising goes as development progresses, as it certainly appeared to be one of the most interesting projects coming out of G-Star.
