NieR Soundtracks Now Available for Streaming on Spotify and Apple Music, You’re Welcome

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

While the NieR: Automata and original NieR Gestalt and Replicant soundtracks have been available for purchase on iTunes and other digital storefronts for a while, they haven’t actually made any appearance on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. All that has officially changed, as Square Enix has finally released those albums on the two streaming platforms.

At the time of writing, the full NieR: Automata soundtrack, along with Gestalt and Replicant, and the Automata Arranged Tracks album are all available for streaming.

This isn’t a surprise at all, as Square Enix had started pushing out soundtracks from their other popular franchises to these platforms, including the entire Final Fantasy catalogue (and yes, including FFXIV, sans Shadowbringers which needs to be purchased at the moment) and Octopath Traveler. It was only a matter of time before NieR joined the ranks as well.

And with how incredible Keiichi Okabe’s scores have been for these games, I’d imagine fans should be extremely pleased to hear that they’re now available for streaming. So get to it, you’re welcome.

It’s worth noting that if you’re in the US, or any other territory where it isn’t Jan. 10 just yet, you might have to wait a bit till they become available in your region.

NieR: Automata was released for PS4 back in March 2017, and has since made its way to the Xbox One and PC via Steam.
