This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Just when you thought the sprawling anime-inspired adventure was over, you’ve got another reason to jump back into Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. It’s getting three new pieces of DLC, kicking off with a free Adventure Pack, which will make its debut this August. The Adventure Pack will be free for all players, and will add some goodies that you’ll definitely want to snap up quickly.

The Adventure Pack adds new floors to the Faraway Forest Cave, two new bosses in the form of Blackhart and Zeta, and a swath of new quests to be unlocked after finishing the game’s story mode. There will also be some new costumes for Evan and the rest of the cast, which are also free with the pack.

Future DLC drops will be available as part of the Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom Season Pass, which will be released this winter and early 2019. The second DLC drop will come with a brand new dungeon described as “cryptic,” with a reward that will “surely be worth it.” There’s not a lot of information available about what the dungeon will feature, but it sounds like an interesting time.

The third bit of DLC, included with the Season Pass, will feature a new story expansion and more “exciting content,” with more details coming at a later date. So if you’re looking to go back into the world of Ni no Kuni II, here’s your chance! There’s some good stuff coming, and you won’t want to miss it, it looks like.
