The package is titled Mahoutsukai no Hon (which translates as “The Wizard’s Book”), and promises to reveal the secret behind the world of the game.

Update: The western title of the DLC is “The Tale of a Timeless Tome.”

The new story content will be playable as soon as the player enters chapter 5, and the previous DLC isn’t required to enjoy this one.

Evan has heard a rumor about meeting a certain rabbit in a dream, and indeed he will be quite familiar to those who played the first game of the series, as you can see in the gallery. On top of that, a new episode will delve deeper into the story of certain characters.

The Labyrinth that was included in the first DLC will also receive two more options, while the “Pandora Night” battlefield will bring the highest difficulty combat in a time attack fashion. It will also include some spiffy rewards for those who will challenge it.

The DLC will launch on March 19 and it’ll be priced at 1,500 yen in Japan ($13.5).

Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is currently available for PS4 and PC. Recently, we learned that Level-5 is working on a movie based on the series.
