New Team Sonic Racing E3 Trailer Races Onto the Track

This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Amidst the barrage of news we have already been treated to from E3 2018, Sonic and friends join the party with Team Sonic Racing. Sega has released a new trailer that showcases some of the levels and characters in Team Sonic Racing. Characters like Sonic, Shadow, Tails, Amy, and more are racing through a myriad of different environments from hollowed out tree trunks to city streets.

The trailer also showcases a sample of the all-new, high energy theme song for Team Sonic Racing, performed by Crush 40. The trailer also states you can team up with friends to battle rivals, or you can race alone if that’s more your speed.

Most notably from this trailer, we get a release window of Winter 2018. This trailer did not appear in any of the E3 press conferences, and was released on the Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube account prior to the remainder of the conferences.  Most likely so it could have its moment in the sun before the rest of the E3 news swallows everything whole. You can check out the new trailer and the new Crush 40 song below.

Team Sonic Racing releases this Winter for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
