Gran Turismo Sport Is the First Racing Game to Introduce the New Supra in Today’s Update

Today Sony Interactive Entertainment and polyphony digital released a brand new update for Gran Turismo Sport, numbered 1.34.

As teased a few days ago by Kazunori Yamauchi himself, the update introduces five new cars for free. Among others, it’s the first racing game to officially implement the new (and somewhat controversial due to the collaboration with BMW) Supra.

Here is a list.

  • TOYOTA GR Supra RZ ’19 (N300)
  • Pagani Huayra ’13 (N700)
  • Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren ’09 (N600)
  • Mazda Eunos Roadster (NA Special Package) ’89 (N200)
  • McLaren F1 GTR – BMW (Kokusai Kaihatsu UK Racing) ’95 (Gr.3)

We also get a new track, the Autopolis International Racing Course from the Oita Prefecture in Kyushu, Japan. It also gets its own Scapes.

Of course, a new GT League event has also been added for the Supra.

Supra Legend (Amateur League)
This special race event for the Toyota Supra includes different variants of the company’s high-powered FR sports cars developed for racing.

last, but not least, new rounds have been implemented for existing events.

  • Beginner League
    Two new rounds have been added to the Mazda Roadsters Cup.
  •  Amateur League
    Two new rounds have been added to the Mazda Roadsters Cup +.
  • Professional League
    Two new rounds have been added to the Premium Sports Lounge.
    Two new rounds have been added to the All Japan GT Car Championships.
  •  Endurance League
    One new round has been added to the Gr.3 Endurance Series.
