Yesterday, TBS aired the 1576th episode of the popular “Sekai Fushigi Hakken!” (Discover the World’s Mysteries) show, explicitly inspired by the world of Tsushima.

The show stars actress Yui Kitamura, who is a gamer herself and a big fan of the game. During the episode, she explores the island of Tsushima, its beauty, history, and the inspiration behind the game, also checking out artifacts from the Mongol invasion at a museum in nearby Takashima.

There’s even a brief appearance by Ghost of Tsushima director Nate Fox himself.

While the show is entirely in Japanese, it’s still a nice chance to take a good look at the reality behind one of the best games of 2020 and the locations and culture that inspired such a masterpiece.

Below you can check out the full trailer of the show and the whole episode (uploaded by YouTube user ミステリー世界)

He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
