After a brief new cinematic trailer, starting in a really unsettling way, and the message “Bound by Blood,” we get a trailer showcasing a look at a co-op mode named Escape.

We also learn that the game is coming on September 10, while those who have Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will get to play four days early.

On July 17 there will be a multiplayer test, while on August 19 there will be hands-on with Horde Mode at Gamescom.

Anyone who pre-orders and plays within the first week will receive the “Terminator: Dark Fate” pack, which is also showcased in another trailer below.

That’s certainly a rather surprising crossover, but it’s exciting none-the-less and in a way rather appropriate considering the dark future setting of Gears of War. You can check all the videos out below.

Speaking of Gears, we also get a look at Gears POP! for mobile platforms. It will be available for pre-order soon on iOS and Android.

You can also check out the whole press conference for a full look at all the news revealed today under Microsoft’s large umbrella.

Proud weeb hailing from sunny (not as much as people think) Italy and long-standing gamer since the age of Mattel Intellivision and Sinclair ZX Spectrum. Definitely a multi-platform gamer, he still holds the old dear PC nearest to his heart, while not disregarding any console on the market. RPGs (of any nationality), MMORPGs, and visual novels are his daily bread, but he enjoys almost every other genre, prominently racing simulators, action and sandbox games. He is also one of the few surviving fans on Earth of the flight simulator genre.
