Free Controller With Xbox One Bundles at Microsoft Store

This article is over 8 years old and may contain outdated information

If you wanted to buy an Xbox One this Summer, the Microsoft Store is the place to do it at right now. This week Microsoft launched a sale with a bonus free controller, a free Ubisoft game, and discounts on all their consoles up to $80 off. It is arguably the best Xbox One bundle deals to date.

A Wireless controller alone will cost you an extra $60 at a big box retailer, the free Ubisoft game about $25, so the bonus alone is about $85. The free games to choose are: The Crew, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed Unity, Just Dance 2016, or Just Dance: Disney Party 2.

The most outright savings you can get in this offer is $80 in either the Spring Bundle or the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Bundle. The drop to $319 is the lowest price ever for either one of them, but most significant on the Spring Bundle because it released only in April 2016. The Spring Bundle will also get you the most games out of any listed above with included copies of Halo 5: Guardians, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, Ori and the Blind Forest, and Rare Replay (which is 30 games in 1).

The cheapest Quantum Break bundle is one of the best deals on the list. Quantum Break is still a PC / Xbox One exclusive title and came out only in April 2016, about a month and a half ago. The $299 price tag is $50 off the usual $350 and with $85 in bonuses it’s by far the best offer to date.

Also worth mentioning is the Xbox One Elite Console bundle. The $50 drop to $449 is significant for the console, and while we’d like it to drop further, the number one reason to get this higher end bundle is the included Xbox One Elite Controller – a $150 purchase basically everywhere.
