This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information

Ma-ma-ma-Mariooooo!! This is what you will be hearing throughout the majority of Luigi’s Mansion on the Nintendo 3DS if you didn’t know already. Luigi’s Mansion sends our green-wearing protagonist into a very scary mansion full of ghosts, ghouls, and other supernatural beings, placed with the responsibility to rescue his big brother, Mario. Nintendo has released a spooky new trailer for the 3DS port of this classic GameCube title showing Luigi being braver than ever:

Originally releasing way back in 2001 for the GameCube, Luigi’s Mansion has remained somewhat of a cult classic in the gaming community. With the story only being a few hours long, Luigi’s Mansion has you exploring a mansion to look for Mario who has been trapped inside of a painting by none other than King Boo. To stop the evil specter, Professor E. Gadd invents the Poltergust 3000 and the Game Boy Horror just for Luigi to use to suck up ghosts and mess with the environment in a variety of ways.

Nintendo has recently announced that Luigi’s Mansion 3 will be coming to the Nintendo Switch exclusively in 2019 that will have Luigi back in yet another mansion probably scared out of his freaking mind like always. We’re excited for another spooky adventure of course, but we don’t think Luigi is as excited as we are.

Luigi’s Mansion for the Nintendo 3DS launches on Oct 12, just in time for you to get your spook on.
