It may still be a few months until fans can get their hands on Kingdom Hearts 3, but in the mean time there is a way for them to check out the Classic Kingdom mini games that will be featured in the title.
In a post to Twitter, publisher Square Enix announced that the mini games are now available for play through Kingdom Hearts Union χ, a mobile entry in the series currently available on iPhone and Android. The Classic Kingdom games, originally revealed through a teaser trailer earlier this year, range from platformers to shooters, all in a black and white style with classic Disney characters sprinkled in for good measure.
Not only that, but those who meet requirements set out in each of the games will become eligible to receive a code for the Starlight Keyblade, which can be used in Kingdom Hearts 3 when it releases next year. The codes will be handed out to the winners at a later date through Union χ for the winner’s preferred platform.
Kingdom Hearts 3 is set for release on Jan. 29, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more on the conclusion to the JRPG trilogy, check out one of the game’s latest trailers featuring footage from the game’s Pirates of the Caribbean world.
