Ubisoft has today announced that its close-combat fighter, For Honor, will be available to play for free on PS4 this weekend.
Ubisoft shared the news via a post on the PlayStation Blog, detailing that the For Honor free weekend will take place Aug. 10 – 13. As is the case with every other game that’s had a free weekend recently, all you need to do is download the file from your platform’s respective store and be ready to jump into battle from Aug. 10. Currently, no exact times have been specified for exactly when the free weekend will start and end, but you can start pre-loading the game as of Aug. 8 at 00:00 EST.
If during your free time with For Honor this weekend you discover you really enjoy the tactical combat action, then you’ll have the chance to pick it up for 50% off between Aug. 10 and Aug. 20. Progress from the free weekend will carry over, too, so you won’t have put all those hours in for nothing.
Recently, it was revealed that For Honor would finally get dedicated servers after consistent connection and matchmaking issues plagued the game. Ubisoft has yet to announce exactly when For Honor’s dedicated servers will come into play.
For Honor is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
