Eclipse is the name of Call of Duty: Black Ops 3’s upcoming map pack. The pack comes, first off, with four completely new multiplayer maps: Verge, Rift, Spire, and Knockout. For those of you who are fans of and/or played Call of Duty: World at War, though, you’ll also be getting a re-imagined version of WaW’s Banzi.
The highlight here though is the new chapter to the Zombies campaign: Zetsubou no Shima. Set on an isolated island where strange experiments were performed, protagonists Dempsey, Nikolai, Richtofen, and Takeo end up there after the events of Der Eisendrache. The island is host to zombies, of course, but also features some crazy new enemy types, including spiders. You can view the full trailer below:
Yet now comes the release date. Due to a deal with Sony, Eclipse will be releasing first-to-PS4 on April 19, and remain exclusive to it until the Xbox One and PC versions release. No official dates have been given for either as of yet, but with the map pack releasing just next week, news for the other versions is likely to follow.
