Bungie’s Official Halo Site to Go Offline Permanently in February, Save Your Stats While You Can

As the original creators and developers of Halo, Bungie hasn’t been involved with the series since breaking off to do their own thing. The official Halo site has been kept online, though, and players could head there to view their stats and progress in the series through the years.

However, with the latest blog post from Bungie, the studio has announced that they will be taking the site down on Feb. 9.

“Almost nine years ago, stats and files from our previous franchise, Halo, stopped getting updated on Bungie.net. Since then, all stats, files, and other data from Halo 2, 3, ODST, and Reach have lived on in remembrance at halo.bungie.net.
On February 9, the halo.bungie.net website will be taken offline permanently. Everyone is welcome to save their stats and files, however they can, if they’d like to save anything. Please keep in mind that our News articles, Forums, and Groups were imported into the current version of Bungie.net back in 2013.”

This Week at Bungie

This will certainly mark the studio’s official departure from the Halo series as a whole, as they continue to focus on supporting and updating Destiny 2 as a live service game.

The website will be up till Feb. 9, so players will have until then to record their stats and other achievements and progress listed there while they can.
