Black Desert Online for Mobile Teased with New Trailer

It looks just as good.

Korean developer Pearl Abyss released a teaser trailer for a mobile port of their hit title Black Desert Online earlier today, giving fans a glimpse of the MMORPG in action on smartphones.

Though not much is known about this version of the game – including when it will release – the nearly 30 second clip shows that players will indeed be able to participate in PvP sieges and fight world bosses. Additionally, gathering, mounting, raids and fishing will be included whenever this iteration releases.

Particularly noteworthy is how graphically impressive this mobile port of the game seems to be given the technical limitations of smartphones compared to PCs. When considering how pretty the game looks when running on its native platform, however, it shouldn’t come as too much of a shock that the game’s developer will make sure to keep up the MMORPG’s reputation.

More content for the game was recently teased via press release a week ago, with Pearl Abyss stating that simply saying “thank you” would not suffice in demonstrating their appreciation for the success that they’ve had with the game so far.

Black Desert Online is available exclusively on PC as a standalone title and via Steam for the time being. It was announced earlier this year at Microsoft’s E3 press conference that the game will be coming to Xbox One and Xbox One X in early 2018 and that it will eventually make its way over to PlayStation 4. No word has been given yet as to when that will happen, though.
