Bandai Namco announced today that they will be releasing two new figurines created by French pop artist Richard Orlinski. The PAC-MAN x Orlinski Official Sculpture is glossy resin figurine standing at 7 inches tall and will come in two colors: black and yellow.
The figurines are described as “hyper-stylized” or in other words, they are done up in a polygonal style and are reminiscent of the more modern depictions of the character that include arms and legs and have been featured in games like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
You can check the photos of both of them below, or if you want a closer look, check out the 360 view video (above) provided by Bandai Namco. Pre-orders are open for the figures (Black, Yellow) if they are something that is up your alley.
Personally, I’m holding out for a set that honors the definitive best version of the classic pellet munching hero: Pac-Man from Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures on the Sega Genesis. Now that’s a gamer’s game right there!
Both colors will run you $134.99, and they are planned to be delivered in June 2020.
