Players looking for something to do this upcoming weekend have a new option on the table, thanks to a limited time deal offered by Ubisoft via Assassin’s Creed Odyssey.
In a video posted to the official Ubisoft North America YouTube account, the company revealed that Assassin’s Creed Odyssey would be free to play from Mar. 19 through the 22nd. Through it, players can experience the full game, and all of their progress will be carried over should they purchase the title following the free weekend’s end.
Not only that, but by playing during the free weekend, any and all players will unlock the Ezio’s Roman Set via the Ubisoft Club, which will likewise be carried over should they own or purchase the full game.
The free weekend will extend to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC owners, and those interested can already preload the game on PlayStation 4 and Uplay starting today.
The video then follows the announcement with some sizzle reels of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey in action paired with a few accolades given to the title since its release back in 2018.
Alongside more than a few glowing reviews, the game’s sprawling world and set pieces are put on full display, providing the slightest taste of what the game has to offer.
It all makes for a pretty convincing sell, and those who may have passed up on the game initially will want to give the trailer a view down below.
