Fan-Made Animal Crossing Movie Trailer Has Little Mermaid Vibes

In this fan-made movie trailer for a fictional film named Mermaid Crossing, we see a mermaid princess leave her underwater home to explore the outside world, and then she ends up getting kidnapped by some greedy pirates. Yes, this is yet another trailer from talented Animal Crossing filmmaker, Evil Imp, a creator whose work Twinfinite has covered before.

And just like the other movie trailers, Evil Imp has expertly taken many clips and sounds from Animal Crossing: New Horizons and stitched them together to create a cinematic teaser.

Evil Imp doesn’t create full-length films at all by the way; they develop trailers for movies that don’t exist. Maybe one day we’ll get a short film. I’ll take that, at least.
