Yakuza 6: The Song of Life is packed full of activities, whether it’s the various substories to complete or minigames to play. While there’s plenty to do in Kamurocho, you’ll also get the chance to wander around the sleepy fishing town of Onomichi Jingaicho. While you’re there in Chapter 4, if you wander up to the tram station on the top right of your map (right near a taxi) you’ll notice a man collapsed on the ground. Longtime fans of Yakuza will recognize him as Saigo, the military-themed master that trained Akiyama in Yakuza 4 and 5. The man will ask for food, specifically a Tonkatsu Bento, which you’ll need to bring him. Here’s how to get Tonkatsu Bento in Yakuza 6.

Don’t waste your time trying to find Tonkatsu Bento in Onomichi in Yakuza 6, however, as you can only pick it up in Kamurocho. This means that you’ll need to play through Yakuza 6’s story until the next chapter when you head back to Kamurocho. Once there, you’ll want to head to the Poppo convenience store on Shichifuku St., right near the Yoshida Batting Center. Head inside and purchase the “Bento Lunch Set (Pork).” This is the Tonkatsu Bento you’re after.

For anyone that doesn’t know, Tonkatsu is a type of breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet in Japan. Now that you have the Tonkatsu Bento, play through the story again until you head back to Onomichi, then give it to Saigo. Now you’ll have the opportunity to fight him, and Saigo will function as the powerful enemy that wanders around Onomichi, just like Sodachi in Kamurocho.
