As with the release of previous expansions, there are a ton of new items to get your hands on in the world of Azeroth. We wanted to take a look and show you how you can unlock every new World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth mount in the game so far.

Non-Player Faction Mounts

To start us off, let’s take a look at the faction based mounts in Battle for Azeroth. In order to unlock these mounts from their respective faction quartermaster, you must first reach exalted reputation with them. At this points you are simply 10,000 gold away from a new mount for your collection.

Alliance

Player Factions

Unlocking Allied Races does not only add a new playable race to Battle for Azeroth, but also unlocks a few different faction mounts from the get go. Currently the only races that unlock mounts are Dark Iron Dwarves for the Alliance, while Mag’har Orcs and Zandalari Trolls unlock mounts for the Horde.

World of Warcraft: Battle for Azeroth PVP Mounts

Arena PvP

After each PvP season has completed, top tier teams will be awarded a new mount. So far only the first season’s mount reward has been set, but a total of seven can be seen in the games data. Throughout Battle for Azeroth you will have a chance to unlock new proto-drakes of various colours.

PvP Honor Level

In Battle for Azeroth, the Honor system has been revamped. While leveling up your Honor level, you will be awarded various unlocks. Once you hit Honor level 500 you will gain access to a new mount.

Rated Battleground PvP

Throughout each PvP season within Battle for Azeroth, players will have a chance to earn a Vicious Saddle that can be used to purchase a variety of mounts. These mounts are released each new season, with faction-specific mounts and variants between Horde and Alliance. Vicious Saddles are earned by winning either 100 3v3 or 2v2 Arena matches, or winning 40 Rated Battlegrounds. While they are not yet available for purchase, there are currently a total of four Vicious mounts between the Horde and Alliance.

World PvP

Through completing a series of quests surrounding Battle for Azeroth’s new world PvP system, War Mode, players will unlock the achievement Conqueror of Azeroth. This achievement will include various PvP objectives throughout each zone of the expansion. Once it has been unlocked, players will receive a new mount as a reward.

There are currently a few mounts that drop from dungeon bosses in Battle for Azeroth. As of now, these have only been confirmed to drop when playing the dungeons in Mythic difficulty modes or Challenge Mode.

There are several new mounts in Battle for Azeroth that can be unlocked by completing the new scenario instance Island Expeditions. Upon completion of an Island Expedition, players will receive loot. There is a slight chance that players will be awarded one of the following rare mounts.

There are currently several different mounts that can be unlocked by farming normal NPCs in zones throughout Kul Tiras and Zandalar. These mounts have a fairly low drop rate and could take some time to receive, though the process is easy and only will be difficult due to the length of time required to farm them.

This mount is crafted by players with the Engineering profession, but does not require Engineering to use. The item that teaches this mount can be traded with other players or sold on the auction house. The schematic drops from Mogul Razdunk in Mythic The MOTHERLODE.

This mount can be fished from the Sea that surrounds both Zandalar and Kul Tiras.
