Travis Strikes Again is a new entry in Suda51’s popular No More Heroes series. While it isn’t exactly a direct follow-up to No More Heroes 2, it’s still worth a look for fans who just can’t get enough of the titular protagonist. Here’s what you need to know about how to change difficulty level in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes.

At the start of the game, you’ll be given the chance to choose between three difficulty levels. The three settings are Sweet, Mild, and Bitter, which are basically Easy, Normal, and Hard respectively.

However, if you decide that you want to change the difficulty midway through Travis Strikes Again, you can do that as well. Press the + button on the Switch to bring up the menu, then select Options.

You’ll be able to adjust the difficulty here to suit your liking. So if you find that you’re having too tough or too easy of a time in Travis Strikes Again, you can change difficulty on the fly to make the game easier or harder.

Once you’ve beaten the game, you’ll also unlock a harder Spicy difficulty to play through as well. Needless to say, this setting is only reserved for players who really want to challenge themselves with a more punishing experience.

If you’re a new player or just not very familiar with video games in general, it’s probably better to stick with an easier setting.

And that’s pretty much all you need to know about how to change difficulty in Travis Strikes Again: No More Heroes. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Travis Strikes Again guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
