Temtem: How to Save

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

While much of the game is like Pokemon, with you heading out into the world to catch wild creatures, battle other trainers, and become Temtem’s version of the very best, like no-one ever was, there’s one key difference between the games.

Temtem is an MMO, meaning that you’ll be playing online at all times, coming across other real world trainers and battling them as you improve your team of fighters.

How to Save in Temtem

Therefore, saving your progress isn’t something you really need to worry about. As MMO suggests, the game is an online game that sees you connected to servers at all times while you play.

Whether you’re travelling from one part of the map to another, fighting a real world player, or catching a temtem to add to your team, the game will track exactly what you’re doing, and save.

Therefore, you’ll be able to quit out of the game safe in the knowledge that you’ll come back to where you left off next time you play. Unlike when you were younger playing the Pokemon games, you shouldn’t have any cases of losing hours and hours of playtime because you forgot to save.

To quit the game properly, press Tab/Esc to bring up the menu, go to the rightmost tab, and finally select Quit Game.

It’ll be interesting to see if saving works in the game way when Temtem comes to Switch, PS4, and Xbox One at a later date. We’ll be sure to update this piece with all the info then.

That’s everything you need to know about how to save in Temtem. For more tips and tricks on the game, be sure to search for Twinfinite.
