How to Get to Delfino Airstrip in Super Mario Sunshine

The Delfino Airstrip is the first section of Super Mario Sunshine where Mario and the gang land thanks to Princess Peach’s private jet. Mario will find FLUDD and you’ll obtain your first star, but it’s not super easy to get back to this airstrip once you make it to the mainland.

The only way to go back to the Delfino Airstrip is by chasing down Shadow Mario in every world, which always takes place in the seventh episode. Once you finally complete this task, Delfino Plaza will flood with water, prompting you to go to the Corona Mountain stage.

The water levels will be back to normal once you finish Corona Mountain and then you just need to head to a Pianta that’s near Ricco Harbor and the Blue Coin store.

If you pay him 10 gold coins, he’ll take you back to the Delfino Airstrip in his own boat. You should be able to find them scattered about the area if you don’t have enough.

Once you make it to the strip, you’ll have the opportunity to complete some challenges to obtain even more Shine Sprites.

And that’s really all there is to know about how to get back to Delfino Airstrip in Super Mario Sunshine as part of Super Mario 3D All Stars. If you’re on the hunt for more tips and tricks, be sure to look into our ever-expanding Guide Wiki, which covers all three games in the collection.
