How to Jump Rope in Super Mario Odyssey

Recommended Videos

When you first arrive in New Donk City in Super Mario Odyssey, you’ll likely spend a good while staring around the metropolis in awe. People are going about the city living their lives, and you’ll even find some people playing with a jump rope. Considering our titular plumber has spent many years perfecting his jumping, it makes sense that you can actually play with the jump rope in Super Mario Odyssey.

To do this, first, you’ll need to find the people with the jump rope. From the main entrance part of New Donk City (once you’ve come down the electric wire), you’ll want to head to the park right next to the checkpoint in front of you. You’ll be able to see the people playing with the jump rope. Simply head over and run right into the rope and start jumping with B or A.

It’s worth noting that the more jumps you do successfully, the faster the women will start to swing the rope around. Reach 30 jumps and you’ll be rewarded with a Power Moon for your expert skills. If you manage 100, you’ll get another.
