HOW TO GO FISHING IN SUPER MARIO ODYSSEY

Recommended Videos

In Super Mario Odyssey’s Sand Kingdom, there are tons of hidden things for you to do. Being one of the biggest kingdoms in the game, there’s no doubt that you’ll always find something new to do, specifically fishing.

The first time you encounter the Sand Kingdom, most objects and lakes will be covered with ice and won’t be accessible until you finish the main objective, leave the kingdom, and then come back. Once you come back, there is a secret oasis where you will be able to find a Lakitu. To find this oasis, head right from the front of the main town with the cap shop and you will see a small pond with palm trees all around.

If you can’t find it, just head east from Mario’s ship. Once you capture Lakitu near the lake, you’ll be able to throw a fishing rod into the water and catch the fish in the lake. Make sure to press the button as soon as the fish start biting and you’ll be all good to go.
