Gold Ingots are a crafting material in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town, which is used in a number of crafting recipes and to upgrade various buildings on your farm. In this guide, we’ll talk you through how to get gold ore and turn it into Gold Ingots in Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town.
How to Get Gold Ingots
First things first, you’ll need to get yourself some Gold Ore. Gold Ore can only be mined after unlocking the third mine on your farm, which requires you to fix the bridge in the north of the third section you unlock.
After fixing the bridge, you’ll be able to cross it and enter the third cave. Immediately outside the cave’s entrance, however, you should see some boulders with gold veins running through them.
Use your hammer to break down these rocks and you’ll get Gold Ore. The amount you get from each rock will depend on your Mining level. The higher it is, the more Gold Ore you’ll get per rock.
These rocks containing Gold Ore can only be found in the third mine, and not the other two you unlock before it. Keep an eye out for the telltale gold veins running through the rocks and you shouldn’t have an issue gathering this resource.
Once you’ve got five Gold Ore, take it over to an Ingot Maker. You can then convert five Gold Ore into one Gold Ingot. This process takes six in-game hours, so go and do some other bits around your farm in the meantime.
