How to Change Sport – Steep

Recommended Videos

While some games may only give you one sport to try and master, Steep gives you four. That’s four different ways for you to leave your mark on this mountain range in the Alps, and four different ways to descend down it stylishly. Even better, you can change between them on the fly to mix things up on you speedy descent.

The four sports available for you to switch between are Snowboarding, Skiing, Paragliding, and Wingsuiting. You can also run or walk around to help you get to some tricky trails, or to find the perfect starting spot for your own custom line.

To change between these all you have to do is press and hold R1 or RB on your controller. This will then bring up a quick wheel. Simply move your left analog stick in the direction of the sport you want to choose and release R1/ RB. Your character should then switch to the sport you chose.

It’s worth noting that you won’t have complete freedom of the sports until you’ve completed Steep’s tutorial. It doesn’t take long, and then you’ll be free to do as you wish on the alps.
