You’ll need to build more ships if you want to embark on certain missions. The ECS Fortunate is one of these fleets that you’ll need to focus on later in the game. If you still don’t know how to build it, here’s how to get the ECS Fortunate in Star Trek Fleet Command.

When it comes to improving your ship’s capabilities and what not, you’ll want to head over to the Shipyard. There, you can check just which items are needed to improve your fleet’s current capabilities in Star Trek Fleet Command.

As for the ECS Fortunate, on the other hand, things work a bit differently. You won’t need to look for it in the Shipyard, as it’s hidden deep within a completely different facility.

Basically, head on over to your R&D Department and press the Research tab. From there, you can pull up a list of things you can begin developing, but you’ll want to press the Station tab at the lower part of your screen.

Right then and there, you should see the option to Unlock Fortunate, which is essentially the ECS Fortunate in Star Trek Fleet Command. The research option is right below Assembly Line and in front of Prime Resources.

Before you can begin your research, however, you need to unlock certain nodes first. The requirements to research the ECS Fortunate involve raising the Tritanium Fusion to Level 1 and leveling the R&D Department to level 7.
