Each of the original Spyro games in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy has a series of hub worlds that you’ll travel through, each consisting of a series of levels and collectibles. In Spyro 2, Ripto’s Rage, you might find yourself wondering how to get out of the first hub world, Summer Forest, and onto the next one, Autumn Plains. Here’s how to get to Autumn Plains in Spyro 2 in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy.

Finding the Portal to Crush’s Dungeon and Autumn Plains in Spyro 2

First, we’ll help you find the door to get to Crush’s Dungeon, which then leads to Autumn Plains. From where you start, head over to the water that has the gate to Colossus, then diver under the water and go through the little tunnel on the right side of the area.

Jump out of the small pool and go up the stairs. Torch the big red button to open the door then go forward and torch the next red button. Now, head up the stairs to the left of the tree and torch the button to open the door on the right.

Head into the next room and hang a right then follow the hallway down. You’ll see Elora standing in front of a door just ahead, and she’ll tell you she needs six talismans in order to open it. This means you need to play through each and every level in Summer Forest at least once.

You don’t need to get all the orbs and gems in each level, if you don’t want to, but you’ll at least need to play the main path and get each talisman. Once you’ve gotten all six head back to the door and down into Crush’s Dungeon for a boss fight.

How to Beat Crush in Spyro 2

Crush himself is a pretty easy boss fight in Spyro 2, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to get to Autumn Plains now. Wait until he’s on one of the glowing pedestals and then avoid his attack, then while he’s running to a new pedestal torch him. After you do, however, make sure to run away as he’ll hit the ground and drop rocks from the ceiling that damage him, and can also damage you.

The color of the pedestal shows what kind of attack Crush will do. Blue he’ll launch a shockwave you need to jump over and red he’ll shoot a fireball straight ahead. At half health, Crush will start chasing you before he hits the ground, so just make sure you charge out of his way.

Just keep plugging away at Crush and you’ll have the beast beaten before long. Now you can head off to Autumn Plains and brand new adventures in new levels.
