Spyro Reignited Trilogy: How to Get Autumn Plains Orbs in Spyro 2

How to Get Autumn Plains Orbs in Spyro 2 (Spyro Reignited Trilogy)

There’s a big collectothon element to Spyro 2, which includes the Orbs you’ll see floating around the world. Autumn Plains is home to a giant castle with two Orbs, in particular, that are tricky to reach. Here’s how to get Autumn Plains Orbs in Spyro 2.

If you’ve seen the Orbs atop the floating island off the southeast castle wall, you’ll know there’s no way to climb up. It also appears as though there’s nowhere high enough to jump over to its location. But there is! You’ll just have to locate a hidden whirlwind to get you up there.

First, make your way to the castle’s top-level interior (two levels), and work your way around to the staircase opposite where it reads “Gulp’s Overlook.” Climb to the top of the staircase and you’ll see a grey brick wall to your right. This wall can be broken, so charge through it.

You’ll find yourself in a small passageway. There’s a whirlwind at the very end, so approach the whirlwind and it’ll whisk you up to the next level. Emerging at this new level, grab all the gems in the immediate vicinity before taking the whirlwind to your left.

You’re now at the castle’s highest point and if you look over to the southeast you should see the island with the orb in the distance. We’re going to make that jump! So get a bit of a run-up and fly over to the castle. On the way, you’ll also unlock the longest jump trophy.

Boom! One orb down. Now turn and make a careful jump over to the castle wall. Take a left and head all the way along the castle wall until you come to a white wall. Smash that wall down and you’ll find the third Orb.

So there you have it, that’s all you should need to know about how to get Autumn Plains Orbs in Spyro 2. For more useful guides on the Ignited Trilogy, be sure to search Twinfinite.net.
