Sniper Elite 4 is one of the free games that is available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in August 2019 and you now have the chance to jump into the open areas to kill enemies in dramatic slow motion. So that you can complete some of the challenges in the game, here’s everything you need to know about how to get shoulder aimed kills in Sniper Elite 4.
As you make your way through the levels, you’ll want to upgrade your weapons so that you can take on the trickier situations. To do so, you’ll need to complete a variety of challenges.
One of those challenges, which allows you to upgrade your trusty Springfield rifle, asks you to get shoulder aimed kills. Since this is a scoped rifle, that sounds a little strange. It’s not Call of Duty style no-scoping, instead seeing your character simply aim a reticle at the enemy without using the full length scope.
How to Get Shoulder Aimed Kills in Sniper Elite 4
When you aim normally, you’ll use the scope, and it’s not made clear how you aim from the shoulder. To do shoulder aimed kills, you need to just pull the R2 trigger about half way, RT if you’re on Xbox One.
Don’t pull it all the way or you’ll aim normally, just do so a little, until you character aims from the shoulder. Then, you’re free to shoot enemies as you would normally.
If you’re playing on PC, it’s a little different. You need to press CTRL before you aim to change to being able to aim from the shoulder before you shoot. You’ll quickly be able to complete the upgrade challenges now.
