How to Get Spirit Emblems & What They’re For in Sekiro
Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice is a far cry from a Dark Souls game, but it still retains all of the brutal combat and difficulty FromSoftware is known for. A big part of that combat system comes with a new feature known as Shinobi Prosthetic Tools. Tied into this feature is something called Spirit Emblems, so here’s how to get Spirit Emblems in Sekiro.
What Spirit Emblems Do
Spirit Emblems are an important piece of Sekiro’s combat system, as you’ll need them to use any of your Shinobi Prosthetic Tools, like the Shuriken or the axe. Each time you use one of your tools it’ll use up a Spirit Emblem, so if you run out, you’ll find yourself being unable to use any more tools until you get more.
All you need to do in order to use one of your tools is simply press L2 (LT), and whichever tool you have selected will be used. To swap between all of the tools you have press triangle (Y).
Even though you might find yourself running out, luckily, there are a few different ways of getting more in Sekiro.
How to Get More
The quickest and easiest way of getting more Spirit Emblems is simply to purchase them at a Sculptor’s Idol, the greenish statues that serve as rest points. Each Emblem will cost 10 Sen, and you can get Sen by defeating enemies or finding it in the environment.
Emblems can also be dropped by defeated enemies or found lying around in the world. If one drops or pops up simply run over to it and you’ll automatically pick it up, adding it to your stock.
It’s a good idea to have a few Spirit Emblems handy in Sekiro, as the game will consistently throw tough enemies and situations your way, and you’ll need every tool you can to come out victorious.
