Pokemon Let’s Go is now out for the Nintendo Switch. This reimagining of the Pokemon Yellow game makes plenty of changes from the original, which includes a new catching system. Here’s where to find Pikachu in the Wild in Pokemon Let’s Go.
Beyond just the prettier aesthetic and various new customization options, one of the big changes in Let’s Go is the catching system, which has been brought over from the GO mobile game.
In Let’s Go, there are Pokemon out and about, rather than random encounters. Depending on the version you pick, you also get to have a partner Pokemon –Pikachu and/or Eevee.
If you choose Pokemon Let’s Go Eevee, you’re probably wondering where you can catch a wild Pikachu in the game. It’s actually very simple and straightforward. All you have to do is head towards Viridian forest, which of course, you’ll be able to find at the beginning of the game right after going up north from Viridian City.
Pikachu’s aren’t the most common of wild Pokemon in this area, so you’ll run into a lot of Caterpie, Metapods, and Kakuna’s first, but if you keep running around, you’re bound to encounter the famous electric rodent. You can also catch Pikachu in Pokemon Let’s Go Pikachu the same exact way if you just love Pikachu that much.
