Can You Get the Ace Trainer Badge in Pokemon GO?

Recommended Videos

Niantic rewards Pokemon GO trainers with badges and medals for accomplishing certain tasks and milestones. One of the badges that was featured in Pokemon GO was the Ace Trainer Badge. Unfortunately, thanks to gym updates and reworks to the way that the game plays, it’s now impossible to obtain the Ace Trainer badge.

Originally, the badge would be unlocked by training at a gym a total of one-hundred times. In the old system, you were able to power up any gym of your choice by battling against a team of other Pokemon and their trainers that shared the same team as you; if you were team Instinct, then you can head to an Instinct-controlled gym and test your skills without any punishments. But since the game has changed over the past two years of being out, there is no way to actually achieve this goal or badge any longer. There are actually tons of people who can still see the progress for the said badge, but alas, have no way to actually complete it or hide it from view.

We have no idea if Niantic is planning on implementing a new type of training system anytime soon, but they need to do something soon because players are getting tired of looking at the same old badge day in, day out, wondering if there will ever be a day when it can be completed.

Well, that is all you guys need to know about getting the Ace Trainer Badge in Pokemon GO.
