How to Get Blissey – Pokemon GO

Recommended Videos

The latest update for Pokemon GO has brought forth new features, but most importantly, it has introduced Gen 2 into the world of Pokemon GO. For those looking to catch them all, here’s how to get Blissey.

Blissey is a Gen 2 Pokemon that is the evolved form of Chansey. Chansey is a Gen 1 Pokemon and could be found in Pokemon GO before the update, if rarely. Any Chansey that you currently have can be evolved into Blissey after the 1.27.2 update has been downloaded onto your device.

If you don’t have a Chansey, you can either catch one in the wild or hatch one from a 10km egg. Both instances are highly rare, though Chansey does tend to spawn more in high population or tourist areas.

It takes 50 candies to evolve Chansey, so hopefully you have been saving up along your Pokemon journey. If you are short on candies, you can check out our guide on how to get lots of candy fast as well as how to get candy using the Pokemon GO Buddy System.
