Using Killer Moves in One Punch Man A Hero Nobody Knows

Using Killer Moves in the game is fairly simple, or at least it is after you’ve filled certain requirements.

When your character’s move gauge in the top left corner of the screen has filled to a certain point, and shows that it has a certain number of charges available, you can use whichever Killer Moves you currently have equipped by pressing and holding L2 or LT – for PlayStation 4 or Xbox One respectively – and pressing a face button.

Each Killer Move has a different charge requirement, but as a rule of thumb, stronger moves require more charges to activate. Likewise, you’ll only be able to equip a certain number of Killer Moves at the start of the game, with more slots unlocking as you level up your Battle Types.

We’ve included the controls you need to input below for your reference at anytime during your One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows playthrough.

When to Use Killer Moves

As for when you should use Killer Moves in One Punch Man: A Hero Nobody Knows, it varies.

If you’re facing an opponent who doesn’t keep their guard up often, or who tends to get around the arena by jumping, then it’s wise to let your Killer Moves fly. They have a high chance of hitting, and they could deal heavy damage to an opponent who would otherwise be hard to catch with normal combos.

However, if your opponent is using their guard regularly, you should avoid using any Killer Moves. So long as they keep it up, they can drastically reduce incoming damage from your technique, and could end up dealing heavy damage to you during the move’s cooldown.
