Change Clothes in Nier Replicant

Unfortunately, changing clothes and character appearance in Nier Replicant isn’t as straightforward as some might like it to be. After you’ve unlocked a costume, you’ll need to go back to the title screen of the game and access the Options menu from there.

In Options, you’ll see a new Wardrobe option which you can select, and this is where you can customize the appearance for each character in your party. In addition to changing your appearance, you can also change the appearance of enemies’ magical bullets as well and make them take on the shape of Emil’s head.

Once you’ve selected your desired costumes for each character, save your changes and boot up your save file, and the costume changes will be reflected then.

Getting All Outfits

There are only a handful of outfits available in Nier Replicant at the time of writing, and they’re all pretty easy to get. We’ve listed them down below for your perusal:

It’s possible that the developers may add more outfits to the game via future content updates and DLC drops, but for now, these are the only ones available. The Samurai and Kabuki outfits were DLC additions in the original version of the game, while the YoRHa costumes are new ones added specifically to ver 1.22.

That’s all you need to know about how to change clothes and get more outfits in Nier Replicant. Be sure to check our guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
