How to Change Controls in Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom

Recommended Videos

Ni No Kuni 2’s combat is a real-time affair, with players sprinting around a small area dealing damage to any enemy in the vicinity. You can dodge, block, and use skills alongside your melee and ranged weaponry. The original controls in Ni No Kuni 2 will likely suit most people, but if you’re finding yourself pressing the wrong buttons by mistake, you may benefit from changing the controls.

To do this in Ni No Kuni 2, you’ll first need to press the touchpad on your DualShock 4. This should open up the in-game menus, where you can change equipment and use items. From here, press the Options button and this will open up the system menu.

Now all you need to do is press R1 and you’ll switch over to the control scheme settings. There are only two control schemes to choose from, which you can switch between with left and right on the d-pad, and you can check out the changes it makes on the diagram on the right of the screen.

Unfortunately, there’s no way you can customize the controls entirely in Ni No Kuni 2, so you’ll have to choose which of the control schemes you prefer and go with it.

That’s all you need to know to change controls in Ni No Kuni 2. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
