Getting Aged Wood in New World

Aged Wood can only be obtained from Mature Trees. These are the large, fully-grown trees you’ll find in most woodland areas.

Chop down Mature Trees to get Aged Wood in New World

As shown in the screenshot above, you won’t be able to get New World Aged Wood until you’ve reached Logging Lv. 50.

That’s because, in order to chop down Mature Trees, you must have a Logging level of 50. Once you do, equip your Logging Axe, walk over to one and press E.

It’s worth noting that the better quality Logging Axe you have, the more Aged Wood you’ll get from each Mature Tree.

How to Reach Logging Lv. 50 Fast

The only way to level up Logging is to simply do more logging. That means you’ll need to cut down Young Trees and others that you can chop down with your Logging Axe at your current Logging Level.

The more you chop down, the more experience you’ll earn to help you level up your Logging level. It’s an obvious answer, but unfortunately, it’s the only one we can give you.

What Is Aged Wood Used For?

Aged Wood is used for weaponsmithing, engineering, and some Town Projects that can be accessed from the Notice Board in settlements.
