If you’re unfamiliar with it, MyCareer is basically player-creation mode that not only allows you to make Che yours, but have them progress through an NBA career just as any other player would.
To get started, you should first know that you need to be connected to the internet at all times in order to play the mode. Once you are connected, go to the MyCareer tab in the main menu.
Select that tab and your MyCareer play through will begin. You’ll first need to go through the prelude.
Here, your player will go through training sessions, scrimmages, the combine and tryouts. Throughout all of this, your player’s stock will rise or fall depending on how you perform.
Your stock determines where your player will be drafted so if you’re shooting for a first round draft pick, you’ll need to excel in all aspects of the prelude.
After a few hours, the prelude will come to an end and your player will get drafted.
